Shadda d’s Ambition and Arrogance

To achieve this goal, Shaddad decided to construct the Garden of Jannat – a paradise on earth filled with lush gardens, flowing rivers, and magnificent architecture. He believed that this garden would be the pinnacle of human achievement and cement his legacy as one of history’s greatest rulers.

Prophet Hud warned Shaddad against his vanity but was dismissed as nothing more than an envious outsider who could not appreciate artistry when he saw it. Despite this warning – it seemed Shaddad had become too arrogant to receive any sound advice.

Unfortunately for Shaddad – fate had other plans in store for him!

 

The Warning from Prophet Hud

 

Prophet Hud was sent by Allah to warn the people of Aad, including their king Shaddad, about their arrogance and disobedience. He urged them to worship only one God and abandon their idols. But the people refused to listen to him.

Hazrat Hood warned them that if they continued on this path, they would face severe destruction from Allah. He reminded them of the destruction of past nations that had also defied Allah’s commandments.

Despite his warning, the people of Aad mocked and ridiculed Prophet Hud for preaching what they considered an outdated belief system.

Shaddad in particular was dismissive of Prophet Hud’s message and

even boasted about his own power and wealth.

 

Shaddad’s Refusal to Heed the Warning

 

Despite Prophet Hud’s warning, Shaddad refused to listen and continued with his plans for the garden. His arrogance blinded him from seeing the truth in Prophet Hud’s words, believing that he was invincible and could do whatever he pleased.
