Sahih Bukhari Hadiths for Knowledge

The Prophet Muhammad originally didn’t respond to the Bedouin’s question as he was in the middle of a speech. After he finished speaking, the Prophet inquired about the Bedouin’s question and also gave his response.
The Prophet Muhammad stated that the Hour( Doomsday) will come when honesty is lost. The Bedouin also asked how honesty could be lost, and the Prophet Muhammad responded that it’ll be lost when authority is given to unfit people. This hadith highlights the significance of having just and honest leaders, as their conduct can have a significant impact on the society they govern. The hadith also suggests that a breakdown of honesty and justice in society can be a precursor to the end of times. This hadith recited by Ibn Abbas in Sahih Bukhari, describes an incident when he was a youthful boy and had just attained puberty. He was riding a she- burro and passed in front of some people who were soliciting behind the Prophet Muhammad at Mina. Despite passing in front of the row while people were soliciting, Ibn Abbas wasn’t reprimanded by anyone. He also left his she- burro to graze and joined the row to supplicate. This incident shows that there was no expostulation to children passing in front of those who were soliciting and that the Prophet Muhammad didn’t consider it a major issue.

In his dream, he saw a mug full of milk being brought to him, and he drank from it until his nails came wet with milk. He also gave the remaining milk to Umar Ibn Al- Khattab.
When the companions of the Prophet asked him about the interpretation of the dream, he replied that it symbolizes religious knowledge. This hadith emphasizes the significance of seeking and acquiring religious knowledge in Islam.

The fact that the milk overflowed and revealed out of the mug and onto the Prophet’s nails implies that religious knowledge should be sought to the point of overflowing, meaning that one should continuously seek knowledge and noway feel satisfied or perfunctory with what they know.
